American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

$14 for an egg and cheese is absolutely insane. Almost gave 3 stars for that reason, but it was super tasty. 5 stars for the food. 1 star for the price. Decent iced latte too

Went in for bagel sandwiches this morning and we ordered 2 egg and cheese bagels. Bagels looked great in the window. They were completely cold when we got them, cheese unmelted and the sausage patty was barely warm, egg was completely cold. When you go into a spot to pay $50+ for foods and drinks, you expect for the food to at least be warmed up properly. Decided to not even finish my bagel because it’s not worth getting sick. I’m sure the bagels were great but I couldn’t get past the basic food prep.

Really enjoyed the bagels and time spent at Saint-Raf, they have a nice parking lot and wonderful out door seating. We got the bacon egg and cheese and the sausage egg and cheese, they were perfectly toasted and the BEC was my favorite. The bagel was delicious, and we also got a coffee which was very good as well. Only notes are I wish the bagel was sliced, and the price is a little high for the food, spent 45 dollars on 2 bagel sandwiches a coffee and tip.

The $8 orange juice and $7.50 everything bagel with lox spread (with no lox). Needless to say the orange juice was overpriced but the bagel was pretty basic. I asked for our bagels to be lightly toasted but my bagel was burnt and the burnt garlic & onion pieces were extremely bitter (which was pretty gross), I spoke to an employee about it there was no offer to rectify the situation. Also the everything bagel was a little spicy for our kids. Our kids commented on how the lox spread had no lox in it and it just tasted like salty cream cheese. We usually go to NY Bagels in West Los Angeles which we’ve never had issues with burnt or spicy bagels.

Excellent bagels. I liked their vegan cream cheese as well. They have coffee as well.
